Textile waste

Most of our fabric scraps go to a family owned business here in Auckland called, Textile Products. They're amazing in what they do; capable of recycling any type of textile waste with the intent to have zero textile waste sent to landfill. Know that what you purchase here, contributes to that intention. They turn our excess into products like; wall insulation and lining, lofted wadding, and floor underlay - all using recycled materials.  

What Textile Products don't receive from us, we turn into garment dust bags that come with every order - dependent on the availability of leftover fabric stock during our production.

Refunds + exchanges 

Please select carefully when purchasing, all items purchased are final. Unfortunately, we can’t offer any exchanges or refunds at the moment as items are a one-off (subject to availability).

Shipping

We ship worldwide through NZ Post, from Auckland City, New Zealand. Shipping rates are calculated at a flat rate to your destination, upon checkout. 

You can expect that your item(s) will usually arrive at its destination within the timeframe specified below. Because NZ Post does not directly control all parts of the delivery chain, we can’t guarantee that your item(s) will always reach its destination within the delivery target. Delivery to areas outside major cities, or where your item(s) is dutiable or is held in Customs, may take longer.

Once your item has been processed and shipped, you’ll receive tracking information via a confirmation email. We  are  not  liable for item(s) after dispatch.

After dispatch delivery target:

• New Zealand: 1-5 working days
• Australia: 3-10 working days
• Rest of the World: 6-10 working days

Shipping sustainably

We use 100% (PBAT) compostable and biodegradable mailers, reused packaging, along with 100% compostable shipping labels from New Zealand companies; noissue and The Better Packaging₁. Both can be composted at home or commercially₂.

The biodegradable mailers feature a second adhesive strip which can be reused if you wish.

The packaging tape we use is 90% made from natural renewable sources like rubber and plants, it is commercially compostable and meets the EN13432 standard.

We ship with NZ Post. Since April 2021, sending parcels has been made carbon neutral. They offset carbon emissions through accredited environmental projects all over the world, aiming to reduce the amount of greenhouse gases emitted into our atmosphere. NZ Post are regularly verified by Toitū Envirocare, who guide them to efficiently reduce, calculate, offset and report emissions from their domestic and international postal services³.

International delivery + duties

Orders that are designated for shipment to countries outside of New Zealand may be subject to local taxes, customs, duties, and fees levied by the destination country ["Import Fees"]. The recipient of the shipment is the importer of record in the destination country and is responsible for all Import Fees. For more info, contact your local customs agent. We  are  not subject to or liable for items after dispatch.
